I am very proud that I accomplished alot of my resolutions last year. The year 2007 was very fulfilling and I enjoyed almost every moment. A resolution I made for this year was to get more fit, and I am doing so by going to kickkboxing classes wuth my sisters and encouraging some of my friends to join me for it to be extra fun. I also want to start really enjoying school and I want to WANT to go to school and not just go to school for my parents and I am working on that as well. I truly enjoyed 2007 and I hope 2008 is just the same if not better!
For the year 2008 i predict my uncle and his wife will finally get married near summer time because they have been engaged for over two years now. I also predict that I will try alot harder in my maths and sciences in school. I predict my parents will trust me, and I predict that I will finally get my first job.

Commercial Jojo&Katherine
Commercial
Katherine and I have decided to create a commercial. The commercial will be about Hollister Co. clothing. It will demonstrate that summer is still here no matter what season it is. The commercial will be aimed for teenaged audiences and will appeal to what clothing is in style.
To get all of the necessary props, actresses/actors plus all the necessary equipment to produce the film as well as all of the editing work we will complete the task by the assigned due date. This commercial will be a maximum of 2 minutes.
Our goal is to gear teenagers towards buying the Hollister clothing. We also want to achieve the goal of making teenagers more confident in themselves by flaunting their true beauty.
All of our equipment will be provided by Mr Padilla from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School. The costumes will be provided by Hollister. The actors and actresses will be from Notre Dame and Neil McNeil. We are filming the commercial right outside of St. Johns Elementary School.
Katherine is filming the commercial and I will be one of the actresses in the commercial. Overall this ISU should be fun and exiting and should give us the opportunity for new experiences. Katherine and I can’t wait!
Estimated Cost
Overall, this commercial will probably cost nothing because all of our props, actors and actresses, camera equipment, filming area and camera man are all free of charge.

Denotation & Conatation
Marlboro Ciggarettes-
Denotation- a country man(cowboy) smoking marlboro ciggarettes, wearing chaps, denim, country background and a cowboy hat
Conatation- manly, macho theme, you will look cool and good looking if you smoke this type of ciggarette.

Denotation- mans torso with low jeans on, very buff mans torso with the background as mountians and rocks
Conotation- means if you wear the calogne you will look hot, girls will want you and will be all over you, and you will have extremely attractive body if you buy this calogne.

Swastika: A Misappropriated Symbol

1)Swastika means life, powerful and strong to me.
2)The word swastika is misappropriated because Hitler distorted its meaning to millions of people. He ment it in a way that they are often surprised to see the swastika as part of the Falun, the symbol of Falun Dafa.
3) Some of the meanings of Swastika in Eastern cultures, the swastika is a symbol of Buddha. In China, the swastika symbol embodies the concepts of eternity, infinity and the universe.

This Spoof is saying that women who resemble a toothpick is sexy and it is the newest thing, even if it means serious health issues and problems for the near furture. It is mainly focusing on young girls and women aged from anywhere from twelve to twenty.
Spoof #2
This is a spoof saying that the cuban rum tastes so good, yet there is a picture of a guy hanging over a toilet. This is supposed to mean it may taste good in the process of drinking it, but if you drink too much of it you may end up barfing, hence the picture of the man by the toilet.
